Jostel Hason has been performing in front of large audiences for years as a musician which turned out to be a great platform and instrumental in the training of working on his craft as an actor. Hason lives for live performances but loves acting in films. You can see Jostel Hason in the short film Crimesight directed by Trey Lindsey. Initially Hason was asked to play a small cameo but once rehearsals started; his natural talent was noticed straight away landing him a lead part as well as fight coordinator. It’s Hason’s depth as a person that comes out in his work which allows him to stand apart from others. His versatility as an actor is indispensable. Hason plays a “bad guy” but also has great comedic timing.
'I can do without water," says Hason, "but I need music to quench my soul". His style is a hybrid of Mother of Invention [Zappa], Ozzy-flavored vocals, dark acoustic guitars, socially aware lyrics, a bit of grunge, some emo, and a taste of harmonica, blending genres to reflect his unique vision. Hason peels back the layers of his soul and shows us his own truth, and perhaps ours as well.
